Thanks to our great friends at Funambol, version 9 is now out!

This means that you don’t need to compile the prerelease snapshot anymore! :)

For more informations, take a look at their blog post or download the SDK directly.

Congratulations Funambol! :-)

Akunambol 0.2.2

Akunambol 0.2.2 has been released today.

This brings the following changes:

- Fixes the mimetype bug.

- Makes the .desktop file better.

Wait for the packages to update or get the source here: akunambol-0.2.2.tar.gz

There is  a new dependency on liblikeback – we’re now using a shared version, instead of including our one (to fix the longstanding horrible situation of kmess, amarok, basket, and others). Until Harald releases it, you can get your copy here: http://gitorious.org/~apachelogger/kmess/apacheloggers-likeback

New site!

Akunambol has now a totally new site, powered by WordPress, and hopefully much nicer to use.

I hope that it will be more maintainable and useful to users: among the other things, we now infact feature an RSS feed, so that you can be updated of new releases or important news from your favourite KDE application.

Have fun!

Akunambol 0.2

This is the first release of the 0.2 series, which will be the last one of the 0.x series. We’re in fact planning exciting new things for the 1.0, but we first wanted to release a version for everyone to use, so that it’s possible to sync all the most used PIM data (contacts, events, tasks).

This release should be quite stable, since all reported bugs have already been fixed, and it also introduces the much awaited support for multiple calendars or addressbooks, so you get to choose what you want to sync. Investigations on how to support syncing multiple calendars together are also being done.

From this moment onwards Akunambol will also have a new home, reachable at the address http://akunambol.ruphy.org. The repository still lives on gitorious for now, but will migrate to KDE’s git as soon as it is ready.

In addition to this, akunambol has also gained a new bugtracker. To report a bug or a wish you can now use KDE’s bugtracker (bugs.kde.org) and file a bug against akunambol.
